I just spent all day installing the back-up cam in my 2006 and after I finished it rebooted to the original background. I put in a CD with my modified navi.exe (containing only the new background) and the LCD screen said "Please check your disk". Now it won't eject! I push the eject button and the disk whirrs for about 5 seconds and then nothing. I even tried disconnecting the battery but no go.

Any suggestions? I didn't see any reference to this searching the forums.

 

First thing in the morning I decided it couldn't do any harm to pull the navi DVD unit out of the trunk and see if there was some access to the insides. First thing I found was the CD lying on top of the navi unit.
