Navi stopped working

Ok, it has been awfully hot and all, but has anyone had their Navi stop working? When leaving work today and after starting my TL, the "OK" button wouldn't respond to the joy stick so I touched the screen and nothing.

Once the warning message timed out my screen went blank as expected but would not repond the joy stick and voice recognition went dead too. Only Bluetooth worked.

Same thing happened to mine today... I'm going to keep searching and see what I come up with.... Nav was working fine all day... made a stop..came back to my car and turned it on... got the globe and the "Acura Navigation" screen...then blank... the buttons don't work, the screen is blank... and it doesn't respond to commands.... the radio works fine though

Nope - Navi still working for now - but my HFL buttons are now dead. Had two phone calls and then disconnected. Noticed Icon was gone and then could not get HFL to respond at all. Last hot day over 95, my CD player quit.

Still having problems???

Make sure you have your radio and Navi codes handy, then pull your negative battery lead for 30 seconds or so .. it'll force a full system reboot. You'll lose your radio presets etc. but it should reset your system.

Well, my issue self corrected itself. I wouldn't think that heat would cause a system failure given that they system should have been tested in hot weather.

Slightly off subject, so far my handsfree link is working but I will say this. Either my Sony T616 has issues or handsfree link does. From time to time the two will not link up. I'll turn my phone on and off but nothing. I have to go through my phone's menu and manually select handsfree link (typically my short cut "button" works.

I thought about that yesterday, but when I called Acura to make my appointment for my first oil change, I told the girl that I was having the Navi issue... the first thing she asked was if I had disconnected power. When she said that, I didn't want to do it in case is may have caused more of an issue with Acura...

But I should have tried it
