The "computer has a small crack in the plastic"? With no close-up photos, it's difficult to tell what that means. Which part does he consider the "computer"? The DVD player?

Also, appears to be missing the gps receiver or antenna, or whatever picks up the signal. One unknown is whether the wiring in non-navi cars is the same (wiring harness terminals are all there) so it would be plug and play. At least he's honest and says to contact the dealer as he doesn't know the answers.

He's had that thing up for sale before. I was really thinking hard about getting it until I found out about the 20+ hours of labor that is required for installation. And Acura wasn't thoughtful enough to use the same wiring harnesses in all of the TL's. This means that if you're non-Navi you've got 3 wiring harnesses to buy, at around $600-700 total. Plus the GPS antenna, cable from DVD-Rom to Controller, etc, etc.... :'( It bummed me out.

don't forget the cost of setting up the speakers for surround to support the ELS DVD-A playback (if attempting to install in non-TL)

Looks like an ideal candidate for reverse engineering... At least if you screw something up while experimenting, you haven't hosed up your car!
