There should be two sets of buttons for voice commands, one set for the HFL, and one set for the navi (smaller/behind HFL buttons). If you want to give any type of voice commands that have to do with making calls, use the HFL button. If you want to give other commands, such as: temperature, display certain items on the screen, change song/disc, etc., then use the smaller navi control buttons. Hope this helps!

p.s., you don't have to hold the buttons down, just push, release, and voice your command.

For general voice commands, press and release the talk button, then speak your command. For HFL phone control, you have to press and hold the talk button while you speak your command.

Welcome to AZ. The TL owner and navigation manuals are linked from the 3G Garage.

Post #2 & 3 are correct; see https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...505N00008A.pdf on the Navi and https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...505O00157A.pdf on the HFL.

You are pushing the wrong button - you are pushing the HFL talk button - this is for Telephone commands.

You need to push the small TALK button on back lower left side of the steering wheel. Thats the Audio/Climate/Navi voice command talk button.

Push Once - wait for beep - talk. That's Voice Commands and Bluetooth.
