I can't get this to work. Who here can help me. Here is what I have done:

download the three files. Then burn JUST these three files onto a blank CD, does not have to be DVD. Be sure to finalize.

once complete, follow the instructions below:

2. Go to your car.
3. Turn your car's ignition to ACC
4. Open the trunk and pop out the NAVI disk (if it's in there)
5. Insert your newly burned CD.
6. Go back to the driver seat, the display will show some dvd read error, now press and hold "GUIDE" "MENU" and "CANCEL" for approx 5 seconds to bring up the diagnostic menu.
7. Wait another 5 seconds to let it load up completely. Press "version" button on the screen
8. Press "LOAD DISC" to load your custom bin into the navigation.
9. Wait until it's completely done and it will then display another error message about can't read the navi dvd, now take out your bin CD and insert your Navigation disc and you are done!

 

I finalized the CD.

I've been at this for months.

What step is giving you issues?

 

Step 8.

I press the load disk. It doesn't download anything. It says check disk.

 

I would suspect the burn is the issue. I used. CD-R and IMGburn. Burn as an iso image. I had the same issue using DVD-R. When I switched to cd it worked for me.

Sorry brother, I wish I could be more help. I took the files given and using imgburn made them an iso. From the file the iso was in, I took the .img file and burned that to disk using burn disk image to disk (imgburn as well) and it worked for me. Maybe get a 3.5 disk load and use the same instructions. What year TL do you have?

It's got to be the Navi disk bro. If you buy a 3.5 orange I bet it would work. See if you can get one off the BM. The only reason his files work for me is they are formatted for my disk version.
