navi constant power wire?

navi constant power wire?

after searching all morning i cant seem to find what im looking for. i have a 3rd gen tl ('04), and i'm trying to find a constant power wire on the navigation unit itself. does anyone know which wire it is?

The constant power is a white/red wire on the 1 pin of connecter C(8 pin connecter). C2 is tied to the ignition switch and its Yellow/red

Thats if you are talking about the DVD rom in the trunk..

If you are talking about the Nav Screen its the 14 pin green connector.. same color wires and its pins A5 and A6

yeah, im trying to install dom's unit next to the dvd rom in the trunk.

DO NOT TAP POWER FROM THERE!!! By doing so, you run the risk of shorting the curciut and ruining a 2 thousand dollar navi dvd rom. Run it from a cleaner source like the fuse box.

I def agree with CSMEANCE... just use a fuse tap and run it from the Fuse Box...
