I don't have a navigation in my car. I see a few people on here doind the swap. It seems easier to me to just buy an aftermarket unit and have it installed that way.

My question is, which one is easier and cheaper to do. A swap out or an aftermarket unit?

Aftermarket is always cheaper because it's meant to integrate without needing other systems. The factory system integrates with numerous parts of the car, thus requiring tons of work and rewiring of the car
