Nav-tv

is anyone using the NAV-TV?

i wanted to use my stock navigation as a monitor for a DVD player and saw that NAV-TV had a plug and play unit available for 04-07 TL. wanted to see if anyone had any opinions, suggestions about this product.

can you post a link to it? Dom's TVNAV2GO is a really sturdy product that is favored among all the boards. He should have a group buy going on in the blackmarket.

THis is so you can play videos on the navi screen. There are 2 versions, one where 3about 5 wieres need to be spliced and the other which is Plug and play. The plug and play one costs about 100 dollars extra.

I believe we are talking about the same unit. What you call the Nav-TV is Dom's TVandNav2Go. Correct me if I'm wrong.

There is a group buy for the unit for $125. The optional PnP harness costs $100 more and makes installation a lot easier (no need to splice wires). The unit taps into the navi dvd-rom unit in the trunk.

More info provided in the 3G TL Audio & Electronics FAQ.

doms unit is the way to go, he will give you a good price if you just call him and dont wait for the group buy acurazine has a good relationship with him. go with the PNP, im installing a tv tuner this weekend to go along with my ipod video as an alternative to downloading content. then i want to add monitors in the headrests or a supercharger or both...:-)

Since we have a lot of information already on the TVandNav2Go, I am closing this thread.

Please feel free to continue the discussion in an older thread. Thanks.
