hi i had the usa spec installed a while back and noticed that the nav will reset and sometimes the screen with get stuck, and ill have to turn the car off and back on to get it to unstick. anybody else have a problem with their nav resetting?

What is the USA Spec? This is not normal and needs to be fixed so that this problem is addressed and solved? I know there has been issues with other members' nav resetting. This usually means a trip to the stealership (if still under warranty) or mailing the DVD unit back to Alpine. usa spec is the ipod kit. before i had the ipod kit installed it didn't have this problem. i've read somewhere on here that other members had the same problem after the ipod kit was installed. i think...

 

and it resets maybe every few days. not over and over.
