My speakers don't work 04 Nav TL

I have an 04 TL. This week my radio stopped working when I hit a bump. The nav screeen still works and all of the controls still work. The speakers do not work from either the radio or the nav system. Once in a while, when I hit another bump, I get loud static for a second and sometimes the speakers will work until the next bump. How do I get to the back of the dash to find the loose wire?

i might think that you might have a loose hardness plug from behind the dvd dash, if not check your amp wires

How do I get behind the dash. If there is a FAQ for this I haven't found it yet. I am new to the forum, so I might not be looking in the right place.

Are you sure that it isn't just faded to the back?

Also take the door panel off, remove the speaker, put the radio on, and put a meter on the harness to see if you are getting power.

Then take it from there.

All of the speakers quit at once. I try to turn the volume up or down, nothing is there front or back left or right. The screen says that nothing as changed with the balance. When they start working again, everything is fine as if nothing was wrong. This is why I assume it is a wiring problem behind the dash.

You might have a short in the harness. I had this issue with my radio and all I had to do to fix it was move the wires around and then everything was fine.
