Motorola Razor for $189
Motorola Razor for $189
I posted this in the Bluetooth Phone compatibility thread, but figured I would post it here as well...
Amazon.com has this for $189 (after $200 in rebates) for new Cingular subsribers...you should be able to port your existing number if you are not a current Cingular user...
This is the cheapest I have seen this phone...
need to sign a 2 year contract though...

You aren't eligible for the Amazon rebates if you have your number ported to Cingular. See http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...965853-7268825

Whatever the cost, the Razr is one hell of a phone. I've had more phones than I like to think about, and the Razr is the only phone that works in my basement. Every other phone wouldn't hold a call or even ring in the basement, but somehow even with it's built in antenna, the Razr manages to work fine in the basement. I've tried different bands, different type phones, carriers etc., and nothing would work. The first day I had the Razr, I was amazed to be able to make and receive calls in my basement.

I still prefer my Treo 650 though, you need a keyboad to do mobile messaging. :-)

As for the mobile messaging I totally agree....that's my only issue, so I ended up getting a Blackberry 7290 and swapping SIM cards. 2 very different phones, but both awesome in their own way.
