I think it's possible to put a motion sensor into the 04 TL? This would be an added security if someone break in via the window glass. A motion could be added to the doom light trigger or the trunk trigger.

 

I heard of someone getting a DEI shock sensor and a relay, and wiring it to the door sensor. If the car moves or shakes, the factory alarm will "think" the door has been forced open.

My friend had it done on his WDP at Steve's Tinting (look for the post about Steve's Tint shop)... I was going to do the same, but he only have 1 shock sensor left... However, I realize that it only work if the window is hit pretty hard... if the door is hit, it may ring sometimes, but mostly no... maybe multiple sensor might be a better idea...
