More bass and keep your trunk space!

Having some work done on my enclosure for my 12w7 and i borrowed one of the new uncald4 slim enclosures.
For those of you who are not willing to give up much trunk space but are simply not satisfied with your stock sub...this is a great option to explore.
It has a ton more bass than the stock set up and is very clean. The slim enclosure tucks away nicely and doesnt take away from usuable trunk space.
It is a huge improvement over stock but is not obnoxious and the bass is not overwhelming, its just right! This is exactly the sound i would have liked to have stock in my TL and some

This setup can still get me into trouble with my girl if i dont turn my sub down when i come into the neighborhood lol

I dont think anything can save space in my trunk LOL
just kidding, I like my bass obnoxious and overwhelming

Just to add to that...with that enclosure, can the trunk tray still be used? Will it fit?

Absolutely.

Notice in the pictures that there is a very thin gap between the bottom of the enclosure and the trunk floor. This is to accommodate the trunk tray.

How is the punch with the smaller encloser? What is the amount of amps you have going to the sub? Does it produce decent bass with the center trunk door closed?

Thumbs up

I ordered the enclosure from uncald4 last week for my JL Audio 250/1 amp and the 10w3v3 woofer. I had it installed today. It looks clean and sounds good. Even the installer was impressed by the custom work. I had asked uncald4 at least a dozen questions from the amp, woofer, LOC, dynamat to the reputable online retailer. He answered all my questgions and gave me a lot of good advice.

Very nice setup, I recall that he builds them to speaker/amp spec but can you estimate the volume of yours?

where did you get it from, how did you hook it up, cause I heard that you have to disconnect, the original one.
And finally how much did you pay.

im trying to understand the first few pics to the third picture. is that a sub on the first pics or just the open space for it? or is the the third one a different car? when I get my TL this would be something I would love, because i took up most of my trunk for my system in my civic.

The first 3 pics are showing the slim enclosure with a Kenwood Excelon 10" sub.

The rest of the pics show his 12W7 enclosure. Same car.
