hi i have a problem or i'm doing something bad, i'm in montreal ca and i have an 06 tl no nav!!! i have download your pdf and try everithing .wav and .flac dvd-audiofile burn with toast and disc utility and when i put the dvd into the car it don't want to play it (FORMAT) can you help me please thks
after you've followed all the steps in the PDF under the Mac section and you have your image.iso disk image, what's the file size of it (right-click, get info)?
that's your first sign if things went well or not before even burning your disc. if it's like 848KB or something, it didn't create it correctly.
are you following EVERY step in the PDF? where did you get your audio files from (internet, ripped from a disc, etc.)?

why bother, unless you have 24bit recorded audio on DAT or DVD, it makes no difference at all listening to 16 bit on DVD, I have 24bit AUDIO from the Archive dot org. If you'd like some 24 bit here it is for free and legal artist approved for downloading

Funny thing is, all of the songs on the album in question play just fine through VLC, it must be a way a file is named or something.

Thanks!
Hi, as a new member and '09 MDX owner just wanted to say how great the PDF instructional was for creating a DVD-Audio Disc. I had given up ever using the "DVD-A" functionality in my ELS system until my home listening environment started including more and more High Resolution music (96/24) and wanted a way to make it portable.
Now thanks to this forum, I have been able to accomplish this with the use of my Mac and DVD Audiofile. I can't believe how simple it was using Disc Utility, now my Hi Rez FLAC tracks are now being played as DVD-A in my MDX and sounding great.
As a side note, I have used Memorex DVD+R's without issue, as the instructional had mentioned there wasn't enough information as to whether the DVD+R would work as well as the DVD-R for DVD-Audio.
My only hope, and assumption, that through the DVD Audiofile process none of my tracks have lost any fidelity or have been down sampled in any way from the original 24 bit/96 khz state.
Anyway this is my first post and wanted to say thank you very much.
