Hey, I saw a OEM Navi unit for 2004 TL on EBay and was wondering if anyone is in the business of installing them in the NYC area. I would feel more comfortable if the installer would order the part himself and check that everything would be there than me ordering it and finding out I got stuff missing from the unit. Question: the gps antenna is not included but I have that color painted xm antenna on the roof. Is that the same thing or do I need to get another antenna? Drop me an email mpatyka@hotmail.com. That's my spare backup unit. Since I have completed my conversion, I am selling this on Ebay. The XM antenna on the roof is not the same as the GPS antenna. The acutal GPS antenna is located at the rear shelf of your back seat. I can tell you what is included in the auction:

1 - TSX DVD Navi DVD ROM unit with MAP disc (no code, you will have to get it from the Acura dealer or from the Honda tech guy at http://www.honda-acura.net)
1 - OEM 04 TL Navi LCD screen with climate controls.
1- OEM 04 DVD-Audio 6 CD changer with Tape option (code is included on this one and I got the code from the Honda tech guy. He's very helpful getting the code for ppl if you have a reasonable need and not from a stolen unit)

I will also include full schematics and pin layouts.

What is not included is:
-GPS antenna (note: you can actually get the Alpine GPS antenna from Ebay for about $40 instead of $110.92 if you are tight on budget. With the Apline GPS antenna, you just can't mount it to the rear shelf, but you can glue/stick it to the same location. The Acura GPS antenna is actually made by Pioneer. Don't ask why)
- Wire harness and wires
- HVAC sub display module (this is what ppl called clock module, the one on the non-navi TL is called clock module, the one on the navi TL is called HVAC sub display.
-Navi HFL steering button
-Trunk right side carpet lining (for OEM look, you can cut the opening for the Navi ROM unit with you don't want OEM look)

 

Looks like someone removes his OEM Navi from 3GTL... Since antenna locates on the rear deck, I have to check the service manual...
