Looking for a DIY guide to run microphone wire from trunk
My HFL module just died and I'm considering getting the BT45-HON3 instead of the OEM module so that I can play music via bluetooth. On a 2005 TL, the BT45-HON3 is installed in the trunk. It comes with its own microphone that you have to run from the trunk up to the front.
I've seen pictures of the mic on the ceiling, the steering column and other places. Can anyone provide a DIY guide on how to run the wire from the trunk to one of those locations?

oh its easy
hardest part for some is removing the rear seats
All you do is remove the rear seats (there's a DIY)
then peel back the trunk liner and remove the rear driver side kick panel, and b pillar panel, and driver kick panel.
Once those panels are removed, route the wire.
