Unhappy Lights around the navi screen went out!!

So I had 1 light out around the screen and ordered the bulb from Acura. It was the passenger temp control light.

Had a shop take the screen out and when the bulb was replaced all of the lights went out including the new one.

Nothing at all is lighting up.

Any help is much appreciated

Anyone know if there is a fuse that can be replaced??

Anyone have a copy of the electrical manual in pdf.

Can you post the navi diagrams on here.

This probably won't help, but it's all I have.

This is a stupid question but did they plug all the connections back? I had my driver side out and when I took my screen out to replace the bulb I had forgot to plug one of the connections back and some of my controls didn't work...haha! Might want to look at it if you haven't already...

Well, if some of the schematic above is wrong, there could be other parts that are wrong too. Of if the Tech thought all bulbs were the same. For me, when I put the wrong bulbs in the wrong holes, they either didn't stay in, or they weren't tight enough to make contact so they didn't light up.

Are you saying all the buttons on both sides and the six below the screen are all out?

Yup all bulbs surrounding the navi screen are out.

All other lights are fine.

I am going to try and open it up later this week.

Thanks for your help though.

Oh, I assumed you took it to the dealer. I guess your car isn't under warranty anymore. Did the shop return your car withouot the lights working? Did they give up?

So the navigation fully works but no lights huh? That has to be a loose wire behind the navi screen. I feel for you, I was kinda in the same boat but I got mine worked out.

If you havent already, check all your fuses. I guess you do need the schematics for the ilimination feed to make sure the screen's button lights are getting power.

Anyone have the schematics for the harnesses behind the navi screen?

No warranty for me

They haven't given up I'm just busy at work and can't get the car in the shop until Thursday. We have checked all the fuses and they are good. The navi works fine, all the buttons work. Everything works except the lights around the screen.

The schematics would be a great help if anyone has them.

Thanks again.

Well, it sounds like the wire that is in one of the connectors behind the screen that provides that illumination feed is not connecting. My only source for help on this stuff is Martin. He provides the plug and play navi conversions. acurahondatech@comcast.net I know he has all the schematics. He runs a business though. I'm not sure how much he would charge, but he could help you find this wire or troubleshoot the problem.
