Which LCD Screens and Mounts are good
Which LCD Screens and Mounts are good
I am adding the AVElectronics unit, Backup Camera and Panasonic 8 disk DVD Player to my NAV system this weekend. With all of the outputs on it
I would like to add 7" widescreen LCD Monitor(s) for the back set riders. After alot of research there doesn't seem to be a clear choice on which Monitor to buy and at what price. I can't find any reviews on what is worth buying.
Some that I have seen on the internet is Pyle, Kenwood, Lanzar, Fernhiet, Alpine, Sony. To many to list. Price is important $100 - $200 each, Cheaper is better but I don't want junk. Looking for a sharp / clear picture.
What LCD Display is worth buying?
I don't what to cut up the headrest, Looks clean but not the way I would like to go.
What mount to use?

i'll make this a quick, short post before i leave work...
in my previous car, 2001 impala, i had a sony dvd player with a 7" flip-down sony widescreen monitor for the rear seat riders and a 6.5" sony widescreen monitor in the front passenger's visor...those two screens were awesome! ...crystal clear picture, built-in wireless transmitter for wireless headphones, and the flip-down had a feature where you could reverse the picture...i.e. if i turned the screen 180 degrees and flipped the monitor up into it's housing so it's facing straight down in the car, i could lay my seat back, hit the 'reverse' button and the picture would be in the right position for my viewing...hard to explain, but very nice when you're chilling in the car waiting for someone...i bought the flip-down screen, dvd player, and one wireless headset for $500 brand new from a guy on ebay...this was almost 3 years ago...bought the second screen for $200...
i would also recommend the pioneer and alpine screens...i try to stay away from anything else as far as quality goes...
that's my experience and
