hey guys...im installing a compustar remote start/alarm on my girls tl..im looking for the keysense wire.it say its in the ignation harness..does anyone know exactly where this wire is?..thanks for your help

 

so no one knows where this keysense wire is or even the ignition harness?

 

I don't remember connecting the keysense on my 07. IIRC it was all handled via data through the transponder.

If you do need it, try red/white in the lower green plug on the side of the fusebox in the driver's kick.

 

thanks alot man...yeah i dont know why neither but that is what the compustar tech told me to do..i allready have the transponder too..i am gonna give this a shot and see what happens...
i got the alarm and remote start working...everything is all good except the fact that weather i remote start the car or if i just get in and use the key to start it, for some reason if i open the door and then close the door, car is still on and key is in, car unlocks, then remote beeps and then it locks...very strange...so i called compustar and they told me to try the keysense wire
