Driver 2's key Fob when you press the "Lock" button twice it locks the doors and then "beep" to let you know the alarm is armed.

My driver 1'S key Fob when you press the "Lock" button twice it locks the door, and I think arms the Alarm, but there is no beep.

Can anyone explain? Is my alarm being armed with key 1?

 

use key 1 and go under settings the beep is prob turned off for driver 1

 

you can change the settings through the Multi Info Display in the speedometer. Also you can change settings such as auto lock, light timers, etc.

 

Slightly off topic, but how long does the battery in the key fob usually last?

That should depend on how often it is used and how many times you make sure your doors are locked or unlocked.

Mine only has 25K miles and is an 06, still going strong.

My Honda is an 04 with 120K miles and it lasted like 6 or 7 years.

You'll see the range get less and less as an indicator it is going.
