How do I know what version DVD I have? or if I have the latest? What is the latest? I'm guessing I have to pull the DVD and not something I can find from nav system screen?

Since you just purchased the '07, it should have the latest DVD. Acura releases an update annually. You can see for yourself with the link above.

According to the manual, your software version is found by speaking:

• "Setup"
• then "More"
• then "System Information".

I have yet to try this so I can't vouch for the spoken commands. If they fail, resort to the touch screen.

This lists the database area (presumably United States in your case), the database version and the software version.

There are 2 methods of checking if your version is the most recent.
1. Acura's website, www.acura.com, is clumsy and ill conceived, or,
2. By dialing 888-549-3798 and (hopefully) speaking to a human being.

I just took delivery of my '07 TL-S, 6MT. Thus far I have 180 miles on it. May your's give you the same amount of pleasure.

 

The software version displayed on the navi system is different from the version of the nav disk. I think the one on the display is the navigation software, not the maps.

I checked and I have version 4.55 white disk. I think that is the latest. Weird because our major new bridge is not on there and it's been built for over a year.
