I just installed my Navi on an 08 TL last night. All the wires match up and it appeared I made no mistakes. Radio works fine except for some reason it won't catch any stations. Navi display is dead. It's backlit however. Just nothing will display on the screen. The heater / AC control function just fine however... Any help with this???

Forgot to add that my Navi DVD Player has not yet been installed. Is there a data line that runs to the back that might be open?

 

IF your Navi DVD player hasn't been installed, what are you expecting to show up on the screen?

 

Alright I thought this was the problem for sure. I took a second look at the wiring diagram and forgot I'm dealing with Multiplexing here. I figured the navi welcoming screen would show up however but guess not.

 

The welcome screen is definitely part of the firmware on the Navi DVD drive.

I've tried it before on my Navi, when I unplug the Navi DVD drive, nothing appears on my screen either
