Did you do the $225 upgrade with the tweeters and amp (gold package) or a cheaper option? How does it sound?

I just got home just now from work and will install it in a few minutes but yeah I did the $225 deal with upgraded tweeters!! I will report as soon as I finish the install!

 

Well, how does it sound?

 

Incredible!!!! I can crank the volume up and the music is clear and not distorted, even at level 35!! The tweeters I noticed immediately they are loud and sound crisp and clear! Jesse did a awesome job and all I need with this system is a decent sub and it will be a perfect system!!!! rave:

what was the turn around time for you to ship this out to jesse get it modded and shipped back to you?
also do you know what his prices are for other services? does he have anything cheaper without the tweeters?

 

i really wish i knew about his services and upgrades 2 years ago before i went down an audio upgrade path. this would have been perfect for what i was looking to do and would have saved me a lot of install time and troubleshooting to get my setup just right (it's still not right but the best it's going to get....static issues no shop can figure out).

sounds like you just need to add a sub and you're good to go. hope more people can learn about this upgrade!

I find that as I get older, I tend to like my volume lower as well as the bass. I want to be able to hear when I grow old. Too much exhaust and bass gives me a headache... LOL.

 

Hmm, couldn't find them on HeelToe's website at all. That does sound like a huge improvement though from the Youtube video.

 

Not only is the amp upgrade awesome...
Jesse is amazing to deal with.

The upgraded amp and tweets...along with 1 JL in the uncald4 enclosure in the trunk was absolute perfection.

 

I have people all the time asking me what setup I have and they laugh when I saw STOCK

 

You have no idea how badly I wish this existed in 2011 when I rant into a noisy oem amp and went H.A.M. fixing it and upgrading everything...
all I really wanted was to still be able to hear the XM input when driving on the highway with the windows down.

 

^^ agreed. jesse could have made a killing 5 years ago...i know i would have gone that route before following the crooked and rocky bunny trail that is the TL audio

im also filling out paperwork to get Phantom Audio as an approved vendor. Wasn't thinking should have looked into it before I went all salesman on everyone. It's in my nature being in sales for almost my entire life. It will all get straightened out. I will post videos of the speakers if anyone wants to see the difference from stock to the Jesse's.
