I read somewhere a post someone made about how they were able to boost the volume on their isimple. Now I can't find it. I believe they made some sort of booster?

This is a known issue with the isimple..

If anyone has input plz let me know. Thanks.

how are you plugging your ipod? when i plug mine in, it locks the screen and is controlled by the headunit

 

My fault.. I should have been more specific.

I am using the auxiliary output (1/8") coming out of the Isimple on an mp3 player. I can hook up this same mp3 player to other people's car stereos and it sounds extremely loud at high volume.
