I've had an iSimple module installed in my TL ('05 navi) for ~1 month now and for the most part it's great. Bluetooth streaming of music is absolutely wondering. But...when I try to make/receive calls, it's horrible. The other line can barely hear me, even when I turn the MIC settings up. And the call quality on my end isn't that great either - very quiet even after turning the sound up to 25+.

Does anyone have this problem or know how to fix it? I called Customer Support and their response was "turn up the settings"...thanks for being so helpful...

Do u guys have navi on ur TL? and if so how did u disable your XM radio without disabling ur navigation system?

 

Yup call quality for me is pretty bad..I've switched back to plugging in the phone and using the HFL

 

I know it's a very old thread. But I just installed the ISHD651 in my MDX and here is how I have resoled the volume problem. I need to increase the speaker and mic volume settings to the max "15". Now everything works great.

This can be done by pressing the preset 6 repeatedly while you are in BT mode to get to "settings", once you see settings you need to press the preset 6 again to select mic or speaker. Once selected press the preset 6 again to increase the volume.

Yea, my call quality is pretty bad as well... The other end always says they here their echo and I can hardly hear them.
