Navi Reboot
Navi Reboot
2006 TL
My navi system spontaneously reboots. Driving along with everything working fine, "actively" navigating or not, and the navi just reboots. Music is not interrupted. Had it at least three times in 1.75 hours today.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Mine does the same but I suspect it's due to my GROM-AND2 Android / iPod audio box. No such issue prior to that install.
I'd say do the basics... check, clean the NAV dash unit (dust buildup, etc.), same with the trunk unit and the DVD itself (scratches, dust).
Last, if you've got time to kill, check for loose or damaged cables or wiring.
Good luck!

I am having the same issue on my daughters 04 TSX. I had an issue with the DVD unit in the trunk and had it repaired, though questioning the repair. Has anyone else used NavRepair in FL? The first time they said the plastic clip that holds in the ribbon cable to the main board was broken. It was, I broke it,,, But, after they put a new board in and "checked" the operation, IT would not power up and got hot when I installed it. I sent it back and they informed me the ribbon cable was damaged?? This time I received it back and it worked but now it keeps resetting. Before I sent the DVD unit out, I cleaned the laser. Any other thoughts seeing NavRepair believes it's not the DVD unit. Thanks.
