I am pretty sure it is the .26 firmware or so they tell me, but it looks a little different. I have a classic 30 gig 5th gen

Well... it was my cable that was messed up... I got a new cable and my issues are over...

37b with the iPhone 3.0.1

I will not be reinstalling .26. I had way too many problems with it. I hope they continue to work on fixing the display problem. I mean I'm not a software engineer, but it works in the .26 version so take that portion of code and figure out what changed! I know I'm probably greatly over-simplifying this but I want this to work

Can someone update on the status of this issue? I still see only "ipod" in my upper display after upgrading my iphone to 3.0.1.

Has Peripheral been able to counter this with a firmware upgrade that addresses it?

So when i got my kit from Best Buy was I supposed to get a cable to charge my iPhone? I am not having problems seeing artists.. so I AM NOT upgrading anything.. lol

Actually they have different firmware versions on each different car page. For example the Honda/Acura page has version .37e, the General update page looks like .36. The most current appears to be the Subaru page with version .37g (note all links to vista versions).

I'm considering giving the newer Subaru version a try in my TL to see if it helps with the lock ups when trying to change inputs.

Does anyone have the 0.37b firmware that they can send me? PM please!

Also, I was leaving my IPOD connected all the time and saw that It was still charging after the car is off. Im now taking the IPOD off but wondering if the unit is still drawing power while the car is off.

mine seems to be working fine...which is why i still havent upgraded any firmware on my isimple. probably not going to either until it cannot recognize my iphone.

.26 i believe, i had mine for a while now and never even attempted to mess with the firmware since it always worked. I did have an issue with the first unit i bought which ended up being defective and had to be sent back to peripheral.
