thats the same unit i have.... it works with both my ipad2 and my iphone 4. It charges while plugged in has full control from the radio buttons with on screen track display.

i got mine for like 40 off of amazon.com

Just spoke to a tech at Pac Audio, ISHD571 and ISIM73 are both identical. ISIM73 are the one sold at BestBuy. If you have a 07 or 08 TL-S with XM Nav traffic, you will need to get the PGHHD2 even if you are not using XM. It has to be connected in the trunk (cannot do the 15 min install and connect to the main unit). I also asked him about the difference between ISIM73 and the PXAMG. He said they work the same but if I get the PXAMG, I need to "make sure it has the latest chip". Found the ISIM73 on ebay for $30 and the PGHHD2 for $32.

Is updating the firmware on isim73 different from the 571? Is it the same file?

I got my iSIM73 on ebay for like $18 shipped. Refurb item. Works fine. Good luck with install though. It was a PITA and I work on cars freq. I didn't take any console pieces off.
