Question iPOD Video Intergration and Backup Cam

All,

I have have been looking through all the posts all day and I am confused - LOL

This is what I have
2005 TL with Navigation

There are a lot of different ways and I am a little unclear what parts are would be used to connect my 60gb video ipod and a backup camera (not purchased yet) to my stereo and navigation screen.

I would like is a list of major parts that you used accomplish this.

Right now I think this would work:

1) Audio for iPod - USASpec PA11-HON2y 2003-Up Honda/Acura Audio input + Interface for iPod

2) Video for iPod and Cam- TVandVideo unit.

3) Backup Camera - Looking for small, waterproof, color, night vision. What camera are you using? I assume it will connect to the TVandVideo unit.

Question - I think you set the stereo to CD when you want to play and control the iPod just for audio but where do you set it for when you want to play the video and still hear it? I understand that the backup cam goes in Video 1 and senses when in reverse to view the cam...correct?

Thanks for any input.

when you want the audio, you push the cd button twice, running it to a CD changer mode which will run the USA Spec.

As for the last question, the navi video and audio is seperate. First you turn the USA spec on by pushing the cd button twice and them use The video switch to turn the Nav screen into a display. The audio will not be effected by the video on the screen.

The backup camera hass an input #2 on the TVNAV2GO so when a video signal is sensed, it will automaticly switch to the source. This can be accomplished by hooking up the power of the backupcamera to the reverse lights so when the car is placed in reverse, the camera will power on, giving the video signal.

SpiderWayne, check out this thread: DIY: Backup Camera with Dom's TVandNav2Go PNP Install

I've included links to other informative threads in my writeup. You should specifically look for "Wendy's backup camera."

Have any pics of it mounted? I'd like to see how it looks. Also what's the model number?
