so i plugged in ipod and sounds out of speakers only coming from right side. all speakers work with radio and cd. has this happen to anyone else?

 

bad cable?

if you care to share more information about how it's plugged in may be more people will chime in with suggestions

the only time something like that happened to me in my car was when i left one ear-bud hanging

 

its the usa-spec ipod kit. it was already ran when i purchased vehicle along with amp wiring.ipod wires are ran into center console and i see they have electrical tape around them. maybe it is bad cable.

 

Gotta be the cable, I think.

 

yeah pulled tape off of cable and theres a few cuts from what looks like came from leaning on arm rest and pushing down on cable. have to figure out how to mount before i put new wire in
