I'm the new owner of a 08 TL Type S. I have a 8 GB iPod which I would like to use in my car what device would you recommend that would connect to the AUX input and also charge the iPod.

Lionel - Welcome to Acurazine. To answer your question, I'm not sure there's anything that will charge through the AUX port; I think that's purely a signal connection. However, many of us have done direct input solutions in our cars. ttribe, Thanks for the input. I need to be more clear what I'm asking for. What "m saying is I'm looking for a device that I can plug into the cigarette lighter (power source) and Aux receptacle to play and charge my iPod. I just may grind down the side of the Aux plug (wire) so it clears the side of my iPod/iPhone charger plug. That way I should be able to play and charge my iPod. What do you think?

 

Go to Radioshack.. they have a bunch of these things there.. I got one by Griffin.. I think it was 30ish for it.. One wire goes to your Ipod and other goes to your cig lighter.. I got one for my fiances Lexus.. works great.. doesnt give you steering wheel controlls tho.. if you want steering wheel controls also, check out the iSimple..
