Ipod Connected Sometimes Left Sounds!
Ipod Connected Sometimes Left Sounds!
When the music is played sometimes the music shifts ONLY to the left speakers and when I go to audio tab and shift music to the right, no sound is coming out, meaning the right speakers are not producing sound. Why is my car doing this? Any help out there? First responder with the answer gets a surprise reward.
A few things come to mind:
1) Have you done anything recently that might have caused this?
2) Are you experiencing this with other audio sources (radio, CD, XM)?
If you're not, then something is up with your iPod connector.
3) What are you using to connect your iPod to the headunit?
If you have another iPod available, see if you can test if it is the iPod.
My point is, see if you can narrow down the problem. If not, take it back to the installer/dealer for a checkup.
P.S. Whats my surprise reward?

If you using Music Link...Make sure the cable connecting to the iPod is seated properly. I have experienced that problem but just reinsert the cable and make sure that it is seated.
