Cool Installing Subs/Amp this weekend....is this set up correct?

I made that little picture in paint. From guides I've read that is the way to do it. Is it right?
  • Power wire ran through the driver side trim through firewall to battery
  • Ground goes to bolt under seat
  • Control wire ran through driver side trim to fuse #32 with add a fuse
  • Stock sub wires are t tapped and converted with LOC
  • LOC rca output goes to amp
  • Amp outputs speaker wire to subs

Also does this let you control the subs with the head unit? Like if I clicked on the right nob and adjusted the Sub setting, will it change how hard/soft the new subs are hitting?

Looks good to me. This is exactly how I have my sub set up. I can't remember exactly what fused I used for my remote wire but as long as its only live when the key is in the on and start you are golden!

Yes, you will be able to control the new subs through stock head units. I would make sure you don't forget to play around with the loc settings when you tuning everything at the end.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reassurance! It looks much easier than other car installs. And to control it from the headunit is gonna be glorious. Really excited for this build

It looks fine. Don't forget to fuse the main power wire. Also, depending on which amp you use, the LOC may not be needed.

Thanks. And the wiring kit I bought has the fuse on the power wire.
It's a budget build so I bought 2 10's in box.. now I'm just pondering how to secure them while still using my trunk weather mat
