Info on basslink
basslink t
ive recently just purchased one and im trying to figure out how to get to the speaker wires or sub so i can run the signal to it also what about a remote wire or does this not need one? thanks for any help
You don't need a remote wire if you connect directly to the stock subwoofer wires. You would need the remote wire if you used an LOC. An LOC isn't needed as the Basslink accepts high-level inputs. You need to drop the front of the panel in the trunk underneath the stock subwoofer by removing the small connectors - very easy.
Thanks i just realized that i didnt have this harness and bought one on ebay for 15$ cant wait to get it hooked up, i picked this up at my pawnshop for 50$ and it sounder pretty good when i tested it out. whats the best place to mount this and make it look nice because its actually wider than my trunks interior

What do you mean by "its actually wider than my trunk's interior"? It should fit quite nicely in that space between the driver's side wheelwell and the back of the trunk, facing towards the inside of the trunk so you have access to the sound controls on the face of the unit.
I think you can see larger versions of these pictures if you look at the photo album in my profile. I'm using both the stock sub and the basslink, though not sure the stock sub is making much of a contribution. The basslink is a great addition to fill out the sound and get a solid low end. Big improvement over the underpowered stock sub. The basslink has a smooth deep sound that works well with rock, pop or country, rather than a boomy sound that you might prefer with the rap or the hip hop (trying to talk like my dad).
