Not sure if I know exactly what you're asking, but I am sure you have to run a 12v power wire just like you would for a normal amp. The basslink has an amp built in so it has to get it's power from somewhere. If you're asking about the audio feed, I heard you can just tap into the sub feed.

*Bad news for me....*
The company called that I ordered the basslink from and they say "oops sorry.. we are out of stock.. should be next week when we get them in".

Yea they act as ... it's hard to explain I can't think of the word.. I keep wanting to say "passive". They just help with the bass .. hopefully someone can come up with something more technical to explain it.

Yes I am still waiting for them to ship my damn basslink . Though I have my backup license plate thing now to install oh joy.

A passive radiator is an unpowered driver which allows air to escape the system. In essence it acts in the same manner as a port on a ported box. Just like with any vented design, it will allow the sub to play louder than a similar sealed design, with some drawbacks. Here is a pretty good explanation http://www.humanspeakers.com/whatis/PR.htm

I just got my TL and now want to install the Basslink that I had in the RSX. How have other people installed theirs? connect to the rear speakers or run RCAs up to the front?

Nope not yet, in fact I don't think they have even shipped it yet. I think I will have to call them up today and check on the status.

*update*. Could not find the place that I bought it from, and it is in none of my records, so they must have canceled it. I just bought one from ebay for $279 + $30 for shipping. I should receive it later this week.. Sorry for taking so long .

Nice, yes I do hope the T fits in the back, I don't see why not though, we have a pretty big trunk.
I received this disturbing email today from the eBay member I purchased my basslink from MONDAY MORNING...

I have shipped the following item to you. You should be receiving it shortly.

Item title: INFINITY BASSLINK T LOW-PROFILE POWERED SYSTEM NEW!!
Web Address: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5728750412
Item number: 5728750412
Buyer User ID: someone-types
Seller User ID: surround.sound
Total: $309.94
1Z6YE15242423xxxxx
Once your item arrives in satisfactory condition, please leave feedback for me.
I will do the same for you.

Thank you again!

That son of a.... I emailed him back telling him how upset I am that he took three days to send something out that I paid for monday when I won the auction. I wanted it by this weekend.. now it looks like it will be mid next week (all depends on ground shipping who knows..). grrrr.. something out there does not want me to get this basslink T heh.

Well, I measured and it doesn't even come CLOSE to fitting in the back of the trunk (near the seats.) It will fit in the big part of the trunk, but it will cut the trunk in half, too nasty for me.

Heh heh, well, the Basslink T unit is 40-1/4"Wide as posted on page 1 of this thread. Take a tape measure out to your car and measure the back of the trunk, don't take my word for it.

Just got it in last night. Install will hopefully be this weekend, I was going to have Circuit City do it (even though it should be easy as hell), but I would rather get pics of the install so hopefully I-mod and I can do it sometime very soon.

Yea, damnit. I have just let the damn thing sit in my house for almost a month now. Laziness > me.

I will talk to I-Mod and ask him what he thinks, I really liked the new pioneer small sub / box combo that just came out. Sorry it is taking forever guys.
