as far as I know they are not making these anymore. I know someone else looking for some as well. Keep an eye on the Black Market section here and maybe someone will be selling some. There were some f/s last week but they went QUICK!

I'm thinking of manufacturing these this summer.. I've been playing around with some designs... Do you think there would be enough demand.. or do most people who want them already have them?

Well, you're welcome to manufacture door sills, as long as you're not charging too much, has high finish quality, and easy for us to install the mod, sure, why not...

Remember, to include TL-S (red red), not the fade red like I've seen in someone's pictures...

hm if I did do them they would be re manufactured OEM's. I would probably aim for the $199-$249 price point, but this would depend on my final supply costs. I'm only really interested in making good pieces. No offense to any other manufacturers, but some of the cheap ones I've seen are pretty bad. The hardest part seems to be getting the letters to be exactly flush with the rest of the piece. From what I've seen even the OEM rebuilds haven't made it completely flush..

Would the letters being about 1/8"-1/4" into the aluminum take away from it?

Well, that's kinda high.... Considering, Bimmer OEM are selling for 858 (4 illuminate door sills)...

Too bad, Acura doesn't make these....

Koshia, Trew-I got mine by posting on the Black Market with a "Willing To Buy" thread. I got lucky and found a fellow Acuraziner who didn't want his anymore.
Here's some pics of my newly installed sills.

^^ Dem's da ones. I got lucky with another A-Ziner as well. Keep your eyes open and be ready to move quick.

Trew, I was looking for the blue ones, too. I was able to buy a set of reds and they look real nice.

tc48--you would be basing yours on a set of OEM sills? That would be nice, too. I found myself lamenting over covering up the OEMs with these (I think they look nice), until I saw the reds lit up at night. A logo would be a good addition, too. Make 'em in blue to match the dash and you've got a sale!

BTW, a big THANK YOU to CarrieLynn for the V-LEDs discount code---I made great use of that!

Did anyone notice how quickly Steven Bell's sig changed? Just razzin you, Steve. They look great. Monitor them closely. My front passenger side peeled away and gave a helluva rattle. I had to add 2-3 layers of 3M tape before it would stay down.

You can't modify the original door sills right now to illuminate by adding LED strips underneath of the sills? (just wondering)
