I swapped my VX9800 for a Razr ...

I just bought a Razr for the Verizon network. I had a LG VX9800 that i got a few weeks before Christmas but i did not like the way it worked with the hfl in the TL. The phone worked correctly about half of the time. The HFL to end the call did not work with it. Its kinda large also. I can go on and on ....

Hopefully I will be much happier with the Razr .....

Has anybody experienced any major problems with it so far ??

I'm running a Razr from Telus here in Canada which is the same phone as the Verizon unit [I rome on Verizon when in the US]. No prob's here. Paired up with no prob and good to go since. Only issue is my cell bill has gone up as I'm still playing with the hfl waaay too much lol!

does the Razr show everything (battery life, caller ID, signal strength, etc.) in the MID display?

I have the VX9800 and are very familiar with the HFL problems, specially when calling out. I also recall that my end call button worked when I initially paired my phone but it doesnt anymore.

However, I would not trade my phone for the razr, the VX9800 is basically a full handheld media center. I have full lenght movies in there, tons of mp3s, and love the full keyboard.

I just bought the razr and unlike my previous sony ericsson, it does not show the battery life. It may be only mine.

The Razr V3c will show all data on the MID: BATT, SIG & CID. Haven't been roaming but imagine it will show that as well like my BlackBerry does. I believe the GSM Razr (Cingular & T-mobile) version doesn't display BATT or CID. From rumors I've heard that may be fixed in a future firmware update.

A great phone to use with the HFL and excellent coverage here compared to Cingular & T-mobile.

I just got a Verizon Razr this week and ive used it just a few times so far.

Battery life, signal and caller ID show up just fine. Pairing wasn't too difficult at all.

So far its been good..

I have the razr v3c and it paired up fine to my 05 TL. However on the display it shows RM which I assume means roam. Wondering why it would display this within my network? I guess my question is does the HFL automatically roam regardless of one's network?

How are you guys getting the caller id to show up? Also after hitting the call button I say call it asks me for person or number. If I just say the persons name it will go to call but it always dials *8 and says that my phone can't do that. Am I doing something wrong? What is the steps to call using saying the names in my phonebook? Thanks guys

did you verbally store the name and phone numbers into the bluetooth in your car? That is the first step to being able to call somebody via bluetooth
