I need Navi Help

Yeser day I got in the car and began to drive. i took a turn and the navi symb did not follow the road I was on. It actuall ran next to the raod bit not on and road. Just stayed off the raod and the more I drove the more off track it got. Not sure what happened of if this is common. Do I need to rest the navi or something. Is there a way to even reset it? Any ideas please. Thanks

I know what you mean. When you set a destination and if you off track to a different road the Navi will think that you still on same road until you move farther apart. I think it is normal, it happens to me too.

Is there any way to reset the navi when this happens or will it correct it self when you shut down the car and come back later?

just depends where you are. most of the time it auto corrects...but if you live in an area where the roads are really close together it may never auto adjust, but you can always just move the cursor and set it to where you actually are and i think it remembers, not sure,

on a lighter note,...lol i found out that circle around the cursor? isn't just so it's easier to pin point that place better, it's also marked as the degree of error/freedom in approximation LOL;

made me chuckle.

It should re-set as you drive-- mine will reset about 10-20 seconds after it goes awry.

Try hitting the "menu," then "map" buttons to see if that forces a reset if your car doesn't automatically reset its position.
