I just want to make it louder

Hello. I would like some advise as to just making the stock 04 TL with Navi system louder. I am either going slightly deaf (work in a machine shop for 25 years) or just like the tunes louder than most. (probably both)
Thanks in advance for your input.
Dean

Completely off topic, but do you have a kid who is going to RPI (the college in Troy NY)? or does RPI stand for something else?

He meant "advice." If you're a geezer like me with hearing loss, the problem is mostly in the higher frequencies. Just increasing the volume won't necessarily help, but turning up the treble (and maybe turning down the bass) might help. This particularly applies to speech, but can also apply to music. I don't have a TL (yet) but I assume its audio system has an equalizer of some sort that allows those adjustments. The better solution is a hearing aid, but I'm not quite ready to go there yet.

Oh, and I would strongly suspect that he is the father of a member of the RPI class of '08.

Yes to advice, yes to RPI Troy 08, & yes, dont want the hearing aid yet.

How about an amp?

I didn't know spelling counted for so many points!

I'll play with the adjustments some more. Although I think I "need more power"

Thanks

I went to RPI.

Pros:
- Great education

Cons:
- 4:1 guy to girl ratio. If you have a son, he won't get laid for 4 years (unless he likes going hoggin ), if you have a daughter she'll become a stuck up beyeeeoootch because all the guys will take anything.
- SNOW
- TROY
- Expensive!!!
