Awsome! I am buying one as soon as they come out. Great news.

Question for Peripheral though. For the ipod cable, can you use the cable for the older ipods and a 5 volt cable together? I assume the wiring inside the actual ipod connector is what changes the voltage but the actual wire that runs between the PXAMG unit and the ipod isn't any different. The ends that go to the PXAMG unit are identical. So you should be able to use the older cable to extend the 5 volt cable as long as all the wires are matched up correctly. Is this correct?

Whats going Peripheral I already have mine working by just sticking the wires directly into the XM unit and the wiring harness. But i would like to get a harness just to be on the safe side. Is there going to be a list of some sort, if there is would like to get 2 or three of them...

THEY ARE HERE. So now they have to be packaged, labels made and they whole shenanigans that go along with it. We are hoping to have them available in a few weeks. We may wait for the 20 ft iPod cables to come in though. I'm not sure.

That's great Peripheral!!! Thanks for all your hard work.

I hope that you will make them available ASAP and not wait for the ipod cable to come in. I'm happy to mount it in the trunk ... out of the way. Some people may not require to plug in their ipod from the center dash.

Thanks again. My email address is: zeppelin1977@yahoo.com and I will definitely buy the harness.

What to do

I've been monitoring this for a long time hoping we can get the harness for the XM with Navtraffic. Since its finally happening I wanted to know if I needed to buy the unit first and then order the harness separately? Or can I get it all together?

So now that the unit for the TL-S is available: is it the same installation as the previous/original post? i.e. the unit goes in the trunk area and the ipod cable has to be run up to the center console?

If so - anyone with good pics on how to run the ipod cable from the trunk to the center console??

2 ways..

1. along the door trim and then under the front passenger seat into the center console

or the way i did it..
2. under the rear seat and then under the carpet where the hump in the floor is into the center console. just use a metal hanger to pull through
