How to take out Cruise Control Buttons?

Wsup Azine,

I have NPB 04 TL. Last year I noticed that my cruise control buttons were not lit up at night. So I ordered some bulbs from the Acura dealership. Bought two since 2 out 3 went out. What I want to know is how to take out the buttons. I took out the 2 screw behind the steering wheel that holds down the cruise control buttons, but ran into a problem. I still can't get it out. Its connected to a harness behind the horn/air bag. Is their a way so that I do not have to take out my air bad?

Pretty sure you have to remove the air bag. Plenty of links in the 3G service department or do a search.

Check the 3G service garage for a DIY on changing the bulbs to LED's, the instructions should be in there.

If I remove the air bag, and do what I have to do. Then put the air bag back in, The SRS Airbag LIGHT should not be on right? I've done some Honda's and Toyota's and the lights were on after.

No, but you have to disconnect your ground from your battery before you take your air bag out and do not hook it back up until you are done. Also the torq screws for the air bag are tuff because they have a little lock tite on them. Use a 3/8 not a 1/4 ratchet on the torqs
