How to fix a crappy antenna reception?

Hey guys,

So I play my music too loud sometimes and it feels like the rear window is coming lose because of all the bass from the subwoofer .

Does this affect my radio signal? It seemed that after a couple of times doing that along with the new tint I got (which the guy said was sensor safe), my reception has become horrible (it's mostly static on most radio channels), so now I only reserve to listening to stuff through the AUX cable.

Is there a fix for signal issues? Are there aftermarket antennas for sale that maximize reception? Is it easy to swap out? I want to listen to the radio!

Thanks guys, and no, I'm not obnoxious with my music - I make sure my windows are always rolled up when I increase the volume (which could possibly have contributed to this problem?)

are your windows tinted? because that could play a part in the reception.

Window tint defintely affected my radio reception. But not like what you're talking about. For me I could no longer get long distance (60+ miles) FM reception. Local stations were about the same as before tint.

depends what the tint is made out of. there is basic cheap plastic, ceramic tint, and metallic tint. Metallic being the one that interferes with signals. However most people complain of cell phone signals

heavy metal tint will interfere if you are listening to weak stations {Distance or Watts}.
best way to bost your signal is with use of auto amplifed antenna ...
various types but this is a good one ...

You could also try more powerfull stations if you can find such that suits your music needs.
amplifed attennas are also great for home amps.

I don't think it's the tint. I specifically asked the guy if the tint would screw with signals, and he said it was sensor-safe and thus would not be a problem at all for cell phones or navigation or radio signals (it's solargard I believe 12%).

What I was really asking was if there were aftermarket antennas I could buy that would maximize reception better than a Mercedes S600? I'm talking about aftermarket antennas so powerful... That signal from Fort Knox picks up on my car in LA. Signal so powerful I can still listen to the radio under the Pacific Ocean.

Okay in all seriousness, I just want a powerful aftermarket antenna, and was wondering if 1. such a thing existed, 2. how much would it cost, and 3. does it even fit easily on the TL-S 2007?

Thanks.
