Burning Brakes
Yes, you can, but you will need to understand the differences.
The 04-06 headlights include fog lights in the headlight housing (Area closest to the center of the car near the grill). In the same location, the 07-08 headlights include a daytime running light instead. If you do a quick google search, you will be able to see the visual differences. Therefore, swapping them is possible, but you will need to splice the wires to switch adapters, or get a male/female extension adapter for the fog light/daytime running light portion. Also make sure not to get a bulb that burns too hot if you use 07-08 headlights. The daytime running light housing is not meant for normal fog light bulbs. If you use a normal fog light bulb, you will melt the housing. Most people just purchase newer LEDs that burn cooler and use less energy to avoid this issue.
Also, the 04-5 headlights use larger ballasts than 06-08. The 06-08 ballasts will fit in the 04-05 headlights with a little retrofitting and strong zip ties. I believe some people have made this work. However, the larger 04-05 ballasts do not fit well behind the 06-08 headlights.
