How do you turn off your navi?

I dont know if this is a topic that has been talked about but I was wondering how you turn off your navi after you use it. I have a 07 TL. I just want to turn off the navi sometimes after I find directions or check the traffic. Help would be much appreciated thanks...

Menu -> Cancel Current Route seems fastest to me.

Do you mean the display? You can switch to audio on the console. If you meant the directions after your destination, just hit cancel.

Or, you can pull over, cut the car off, cut it back on, and don't do anything when the "OK" screen comes on...it'll go blank if you want it off completely!

Press setup button under the screen, then select display "off" on the touchscreen.

Or use voice command.

1. Say"setup"
2. Say "display off".

I have to admit, it never occurred to me you wanted to turn off the display. I use mine just as much for audio controls.

Does anyone know how to cancel a route/destination before you arrive - say you have a change of plans? If not, the damn thing keeps telling me to do a u-turn if possible and wants me to go back to the original destination.
