Hello

I am recently owner of Acura TL. All functions and buttons already clear but I can't connect mobile phone thought bluetooth to HFL. Can you explain how to make it?

Thanks

It's using a Motorola RAZR, but, it's the same process on a smartphone

Your HFL unit may be dead.

Yes, your HFL may be dead.

You can take it apart and bake the circuit board in the oven to see if that fixes it, or just order a new HFL module.

If you're in the US, a new HFL is $180-220 through vendors on AZ. If you're in Canada, the price may be higher.

So I am adding to this post because I know mine is out. I will try baking it in the near future.

My question is, does the garage door opener also run off of the HFL. I tried programming mine and ran through the whole tutorial but I get hung up on the whole "press my remote button and car button at the same time" step. It doesn't seem to take and give me that double blink im looking for....

Im assuming it is since the HFL is located there too.

The HFL is a separate module from the Homelink-- the HFL is right behind the inside rear view mirror; the Homelink and switches are further back.

Is your garage remote a "rolling code" remote? If so, you need to have access to the "learn" button on the garage receiver, not just the remote, to program the Homelink. There are several threads on this; check the 3G TL Service Dept./Garage thread on programming the Homelink. IIRC, the owner's manual missed a step, or was unclear, in its description on programming rolling codes.

Welcome to AZ.
