Looking to spice up the audio system budget style. I am a bit stuck on amp selection because I don't know how many channels I'll need. Search and FAQ didn't turn much. I plan to replace stock sub with another 8" and a separate small mono amp for that. And replace the stock amp with one that will power all the speakers. Aiming the same location.

So there is stock amp drove everything. I see that there are 7 speakers and 1 sub. So am I looking for a 7 channel amp? Sorry i know next little about car audio hw specs. This is where I am stuck.

I want to keep the stock look and simple plug and play hardware swaps. Thanks.
