Hooking up Valentine through the electrical

Has anyone tried or does anyone know how to go about connecting a V1 or any other radar for that matter directly to the vehicles electric circuits, so that i dont have to use my power outlet and have wires all over in front of the Navi. I jus want to have a neat setup. Would best buy or circuit city ppl help. would they charge a butt load for connecting a few wires.???

There are people who have gotten them hardwired at best buy and circuit city. The cost is only around $25, from what I've heard. If you want to try and do it yourself, there is an excellent thread that was started by deandorsey with pics on how he did it. Click below:

Good luck!
