I have my homelink sys synced with my garage door. What else do you guys have yours synced up to? Just wanted to get ideas and utilize these different features.

I may get some exterior lights from my home that may be able to get synced up with homelink too..

I have a home-link equivalent system and I have the garage door as well as exterior lights programmed. Some people use it for gates. Even some alarm systems can be synced.

I don't use mine for anything. Never tried syncing up the garage to it.

I have my garage door on the left-hand button and my parents' garage door (they live about 20 minutes away) on the right-hand button. Until they replaced their house's front door about a year or two ago, it was a massive pain in the arse to get in via any route other than through the garage, so I quickly programmed in their garage-door code so that I could let myself in via that route when I visited. As a bonus, my doing that taught my father that he could program his TSX's homelink device to open their garage—he didn't realize that the "learn" button is found on the box that hangs from the ceiling and so he thought their opener was incompatible.

Don't have a use for the middle button.

it would be cool to unhook those buttons if possible and hook them up for something else. Like reverse HIDs, or rear view camera or something like that.

Can you guys give me the make and models of your garage openers? I'm researching a new Chamberlain but have seen reviews that even though it's HomeLink compatible, it's really not or you have to buy an add'l adapter.
