How frustrating ... I've been on the phone to homelink and apparently its incompatible with my appartment building garage door because the signal is above 399Mhz !! ... anyone else have the same problem?

they say the only solution is to install a receiver which is under 399Mhz .. like thats going to happen

 

you just have to deal w/ it. the same thing happened to me, lots of developments use these transmitters so that we can't program them. security issues.

 

Well actually I called homelink.

and its not the case of not being programmable. the frequency of the reciever was too high for homelink ... they say the acura dont have a wideband so it will not work

 

that's what i meant, frequency they use is to high for most factory homelinks to work with.
