I searched various threads and did not find this answer. I own a 2004 TL 6MT non-Navi. Most of you 2004 owners probably know our 04 HFL parts are discontinued (ex. 39770-SEP-A01ZC).

Are the 2005-2006 TL HFL modules compatible with 2004 TL (ex. 39700-SEP-A02ZC)? I would remove new HFL module from its bezel and install module onto my original bezel.

Note: I realize the bezel interior color designate the different last 5 characters in the part number. I plan to remove the HFL from new part and install into my old bezel (if bezel color or fitment is different).

Answered my own question...local Acura dealer verified the 2005-2006 TL HFL parts are compatible with 2004. So I can go with 05-06 HFL to replace.
